10.09.08 -- Congrats to Matt and the #8 team for picking up a big victory during the Big Kahuna weekend at The Rock!! Matt also earned the 2008 Points Championship in the Limited Late Model division at the Speedway!! 09.12.08 -- The final points event was rained out at The Rock this evening. You can catch the #8 team in action at the Small Car Nationals at Hagerstown next weekend!

09.08.08 -- Matt was able pick up a great win at The Rock on Friday night!! You can read more about it here. Congrats to the #8 team on their win!! Awesome job!!

08.19.08 -- It has been a very busy week for the #8 team. After leaving Winchester on Saturday (9th) with a Top 10 finish, the team looked at a two race weekend. Matt ended up with a 4th place finish on Friday at The Rock, but struggled with an ill handling racecar on Saturday at Hagerstown. The team will be taking a much needed break this coming weekend!

08.05.08 -- Matt was a DNF on Friday at The Rock, after breaking the rear end spool on the #8. After busting on the car over the night and into Saturday, Matt traveled to Hagerstown and finished in 8th position. The #8 and #8J will be back in action at Winchester (VA) on Saturday evening for the final portion of the Winchester/Rock Challenge.

07.30.2008 -- After taking a well deserved weekend off, the #8 returned to The Rock for the Fair Race on Sunday evening. Matt picked up a 6th place finish and now looks forward to a back-to-back race weekend. It all starts Friday night at The Rock and then heads east on Saturday to Hagerstown.

07.14.2008 -- Congrats to Matt & the #8 team on their second feature win of '08 at The Rock on Saturday night! Way to go guys!!

07.07.2008 -- Mother Nature washed out the team plans to head to Bedford on Friday. Luckily, Hagerstown caught a small break with the weather on Saturday evening. After a two hour rain delay, the evening got underway as scheduled. In the heat, Matt missed a transfer spot by one position and found himself having to go through the B-Main to get into the feature event. After a 4th place finish in the B-Main, Matt lined up in 22nd position and steadily worked his way into a 6th place finish in the tough feature event.

The #8 will be in action at The Rock on Saturday, July 12th.
