08.19.08 -- It has been a very busy week for the #8 team. After leaving Winchester on Saturday (9th) with a Top 10 finish, the team looked at a two race weekend. Matt ended up with a 4th place finish on Friday at The Rock, but struggled with an ill handling racecar on Saturday at Hagerstown. The team will be taking a much needed break this coming weekend!

08.05.08 -- Matt was a DNF on Friday at The Rock, after breaking the rear end spool on the #8. After busting on the car over the night and into Saturday, Matt traveled to Hagerstown and finished in 8th position. The #8 and #8J will be back in action at Winchester (VA) on Saturday evening for the final portion of the Winchester/Rock Challenge.

07.30.2008 -- After taking a well deserved weekend off, the #8 returned to The Rock for the Fair Race on Sunday evening. Matt picked up a 6th place finish and now looks forward to a back-to-back race weekend. It all starts Friday night at The Rock and then heads east on Saturday to Hagerstown.

07.14.2008 -- Congrats to Matt & the #8 team on their second feature win of '08 at The Rock on Saturday night! Way to go guys!!

07.07.2008 -- Mother Nature washed out the team plans to head to Bedford on Friday. Luckily, Hagerstown caught a small break with the weather on Saturday evening. After a two hour rain delay, the evening got underway as scheduled. In the heat, Matt missed a transfer spot by one position and found himself having to go through the B-Main to get into the feature event. After a 4th place finish in the B-Main, Matt lined up in 22nd position and steadily worked his way into a 6th place finish in the tough feature event.

The #8 will be in action at The Rock on Saturday, July 12th.

06.30.2008 -- Schedule changes have been added to the website for the upcoming July 4th weekend! Come out and support the team at Bedford and Hagerstown!!

06.29.2008 -- The #8 team decided to run Friday evening at The Rock in the Super Late Model Dwane Shultz Memorial event. After a few rough moments in the feature event, Matt brought home a 10th place finish with a right front flat! Look for a schedule announcement to be made this week and hope for better weather!

06.24.2008> -- Rain washed out the events at The Rock last Friday evening. As the #8 still considers their plans for the weekend, please check back for any additional changes to the schedule.

06.17.2008 -- Sunday night was a little rough for the #8 as Matt had an unfortunate meeting with the wall during hot laps. The #8 opted out of the heat race, as the team busted their tails to have the car ready for the feature event. Starting last in the feature, Matt ended up with a 7th place finish -- even though the car was still not performing at 100%. The #8 will be back in action this Friday at The Rock and ready to combat the bad luck from Sunday!

06.14.2008 -- Racing at The Rock was cancelled on Friday evening. The racing events have been rescheduled for June 15th, 2008 with hot laps starting at 6:30 p.m. Come out and support Matt and the #8 team in Cumberland (MD) on Sunday!

06.09.2008 -- Even after a trying and hot weekend, the #8 came out with two good finishes during racing action on Saturday and Sunday night. The team decided to head North to Hesston Speedway on Saturday evening and even though Matt's #8 suffered some damage from two incidents, he came out with a 9th place finish. On Sunday in the blistering heat, the #8 ended up 2nd in the feature event at The Rock. The team will be working hard this week and you can find the #8 at The Rock on Friday night, June 13th.
